I’ve been getting this question a lot – so I thought of writing an article, to give the definitive answer: “In 2024 what are your options to send a recurring email using Microsoft Outlook?” My answer is simple, and applies to both Microsoft Outlook (the mobile or desktop apps) and the online service Microsoft 365 (formerly Hotmail).

What is a recurring email?

Good question! A recurring email is one that you schedule once, then gets sent over and over again… on a schedule you choose. So if you want to send an email titled “Give me a report on SEO progress” every week… that is a recurring email.

Does Outlook let you send recurring emails?
