What changed

The ScheduleThatEmail app is shut down. It no longer sends anything.
Accounts and scheduled emails were not migrated. If you want them to keep going, sign up for Recurrr and set them up again. It takes a couple of minutes per email.
Recurrr does what ScheduleThatEmail did, through more than Gmail. Connect Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, or any mailbox with SMTP. It sends as you, from your address, and never reads your inbox.

Is this the same company?

Yes. Recurrr is built by DigitallyHappy, the same company and the same founder behind ScheduleThatEmail.

What happened to my ScheduleThatEmail account and scheduled emails?

The app is shut down and nothing was moved over, so anything you had scheduled there has stopped. To keep it going, create a Recurrr account and set the emails up again.

Does Recurrr send from my own Gmail address?

Yes. Sign in with Google once and Recurrr sends as you, from your Gmail address, so replies land in your normal inbox. It never reads your inbox. Outlook and SMTP accounts work the same way.

Why the rename?

The old name described one trick for one provider. Recurrr is broader than Gmail and broader than email scheduling: it's about messages that recur.
